In this week's Arista Advice, Paul L. Moffat of Arista Wealth Management shares some tips anyone can use to achieve their goals.
Hello, welcome to this week’s Arista Advice. Hope you’re well.
The question of the week is - Paul, how can I achieve my goals?
Did you know that 73% of Americans cannot accurately report their three top financial goals?
Let me share with you an acronym that will help you become successful with setting goals. It's called SMART. S stands for specific. M stands for measurable. A is attainable. R is relevant, and T is time-bound.
When you write down your goals, and you then share them with another individual your chances of achieving those goals quadruple. Take some time. Find out where you want to be in life and put pen to paper and write down these goals.
Please remember, it's best to start with a small goal and a simple goal instead of a big gigantic goal and start getting a process of writing some things down, getting some things from your mind on paper and moving forward in life. You'll be amazed at the success that you'll be able to achieve.
The Arista Advice that we share with you is when creating your goals think long-term. Avoid the trap of instant gratification. Number two, remember to create SMART goals, and number three keep the list close and check on it often to remind yourself to stay on track.
Hope this is helpful. Look forward to talking to you soon. Have a great week.
